Australia toddler has lucky escape from python

A two-year-old boy from Port Douglas, Queensland, escaped with minor injuries after being attacked by a scrub python while playing in his backyard. The boy was chasing a ball when the snake grabbed him and started to wrap itself around his body. Unable to pull the snake off, the boy's mother sought help from neighbors who helped her to free the toddler. Experts said python attacks on young children are rare, their usual prey includes pets and wallabies.
